"Road surface marking paint glass beads" are designed to make road markings appear vividly as if they are glowing during nighttime driving. Glass beads possess the "retroreflective properties" that return incident light in the direction of the light source. When the light from headlights strikes the glass beads embedded in the road paint, that light is efficiently returned to the driver, making the road markings appear as if they are illuminated.
